WHISPERING PINES HIDEAWAY Guidelines Gun Safety is first and foremost at the “Hideaway” Alcohol consumption is not allowed if you wish to shoot at the “Hideaway”. You are welcome to indulge in alcohol beverages at the Lodge or the pavilion after you have completed hunting or a round of clays. Please be careful when you drink and drive. The Laws are much tougher now then in the past. “Hunter Blaze Orange” is mandatory while hunting at the “Hideaway” Up to four (4) guns per party while in the field hunting All birds must be tagged before leaving the “Hideaway” We do allow members as well as non-members to hunt “clean up”. There is a $20.00 charge for that which is simply the cost of the liability. The first bird that you harvest is yours; additional birds harvested are charge at the extra bird rate which is noted in the brochure. Our standard release package is six (6) Pheasants or ten (10) Chukars. We request that you adhere to those standards when possible for economic concerns. We will continue to work with those who want less released by allowing and encouraging you to initiate your own release. If you find it necessary to cancel your hunt, please notify us 2 hours prior to the scheduled time of the hunt. If this is not done and your birds are already set, they will be deducted from your membership. I have initiated a map and directions to the various farms which you will be able to see when you register at the Lodge. You will be able to simply go to that farm and start hunting. Those 55 and older are eligible for the Senior Membership. You must notify WPH prior to March 15th if you are planning to shoot your membership birds before March 31st or wish to carryover the balance until the following season. All carryover birds must be released prior to January 1st of that season. The 2009-2010 Season at the “Hideaway” September 1, 2009 thru March 31, 2010 I would encourage you as members and friends to consider the use the facilities for any event you may wish to have. Our biggest asset is the outdoors we have readily available for your enjoyment.
